The Long and Winding road to Wisconsin
The Gilmore Family Band is a progressive acoustic ensemble based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Born in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and shaped in the Driftless Plains, vocalist Shannon Gilmore and her husband, mandolin and guitarist Jason Gilmore, bring the depth and chemistry of a seasoned musical partnership. Their sound weaves together blues, bluegrass, rock, folk, country, jazz, and beyond. Rounding out the group is Wisconsin native “Cousin” Tyler Kluth on upright bass, a seasoned musician known for his work with Dead Horse Revival. Their signature blend of “Rock'n Ass Blues'n Grass” has carved out a distinct place in the Wisconsin music scene—and the journey is just getting started.
